Virender Sehwag rejects lucrative BBL offer, citing extravagant spending the night before

Virender Sehwag was once offered a significant sum of money to play in the Big Bash League in Australia but turned it down, citing the low amount offered. In a conversation with Adam Gilchrist, Sehwag humorously remarked that Indian cricketers don’t need to play in foreign leagues because they already have plenty of money. He recalled how he received an offer of $100,000 to participate in the Big Bash League but rejected it, stating that he could spend that amount on a holiday.
