BJP’s Hyderabad Candidate, Kompella Madhavi Latha, Discloses Assets Worth Rs 221 Crore

Madhavi Latha, a 49-year-old businessperson residing in Secunderabad, recently joined the BJP and submitted an affidavit to the Election Commission while filing her nomination. In the affidavit, she disclosed that her family, including her husband Kompella Viswanath and their three dependent children, holds movable assets amounting to Rs 165.46 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 55.91 crore. The couple’s income during 2021-22 and 2022-23 is also detailed in the affidavit, with Madhavi Latha earning Rs 1.22 crore and Rs 3.76 lakh, and her husband earning Rs 6.86 crore and Rs 2.82 crore, respectively. Notably, Madhavi Latha faces one criminal case, registered against her last week at Begum Bazar Police Station, alleging an incident related to the Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 295-A.
