Lok Sabha elections 2024: Sudha Murty gets Narayana Murthy discharged from hospital to vote

The right to vote is a privilege that we have once every five years. It’s crucial to approach this responsibility thoughtfully and with care, emphasized Narayana Murthy.

Despite being unwell and just discharged from the hospital, the 77-year-old Infosys founder made it a point to exercise his right to vote. His wife, Sudha Murty, emphasized the importance of voting and encouraged citizens to express their opinions by participating in the electoral process.

She also urged the youth to make their voices heard by coming out to vote. Sudha Murty also highlighted the need for higher voter turnout, especially among the educated population in Bengaluru, where voter turnout has traditionally been low.

Similarly, former cricketer Rahul Dravid emphasized the importance of active participation in democracy, encouraging citizens, particularly first-time voters and youth, to exercise their right to vote. He called for record turnout in Bengaluru and emphasized the need for everyone to play a part in shaping the future through the electoral process.
