Sunil Gavaskar reignites debate over Virat Kohli’s strike rate, surprising his team.

Kohli has scored 430 runs in 9 matches at a strike rate of 145.76. However, there have been several occasions where fans and experts felt that he could have paced his innings better.

Gavaskar mentioned that despite Kohli scoring an important half-century, there was a lack of boundaries in his innings, which was not up to the team’s expectations. He noted that Kohli seemed to have lost his touch in the middle and his strike rate went down, which was not ideal.

Fortunately for RCB, their bowling unit performed well, limiting SRH to 171/8 while defending a total of 206/7. If RCB had lost the game, Kohli’s half-century would have been a major point of discussion.
