Robert Vadra’s Statement: “Whole Nation Wants Me to Enter Politics, Run from Anethi

Robert Vadra has expressed his intentions to get into active politics, claiming that the people of the country want him to do so. He has mentioned that the people always want him to be present in their region. He also criticized the sitting MP from Amethi, Smriti Irani, stating that she has not fulfilled her promises. Vadra has expressed confidence in the Congress party, claiming that they are comfortably ahead of the BJP after the conclusion of two phases of the Lok Sabha polls.

He believes that the people of India want change and are looking to remove the BJP from power. Earlier in the month, posters featuring Robert Vadra had appeared outside the party’s office in the Gauriganj area of Amethi, raising speculations about a possible ticket for Vadra. However, Vadra has stated that a decision on contesting from Amethi and Rae Bareli constituencies will be taken by the Congress leadership. It has been reported that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Rahul Gandhi are likely to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Rae Bareli and Amethi seats, respectively.

A final decision on this matter is expected after April 26. The Amethi and Rae Bareli Lok Sabha constituencies are scheduled to vote in the fifth phase of the elections on May 20. Smriti Irani, who defeated Rahul Gandhi in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Amethi, has been fielded by the Bharatiya Janata Party from the seat again.
