Madhya Pradesh Teen Dies By Suicide After Alcoholic Father Beats Mother

The girl’s mother reported that her husband would beat her after consuming alcohol. Tragically, the teenager died by suicide in Rawat Palasia village, as confirmed by Barwah police station in-charge Nirmal Shrivas. The girl left behind a note detailing her father’s habitual drinking and his physical abuse towards her mother. She also accused the police of not taking action despite multiple complaints against her father.

Shrivas denied the allegations against the police and stated that they had acted on complaints against the girl’s father, ensuring that he furnished a bond for good behavior. Khargone Superintendent of Police Dharmaraj Meena assured that strict action would be taken against the girl’s father, revealing that the police had previously arrested him in response to complaints. Additionally, the girl’s younger sister also accused their father of heavy drinking and assaulting their mother, echoing the claim that the police did not act on multiple complaints. The mother reiterated the father’s abusive behavior, claiming that it led to their daughter setting herself on fire due to distress over his actions.
