Vistara’s Response to Actor Aditi Rao Hydari’s Post About “Airport Circus

Aditi Rao Hydari’s upcoming project is a period drama by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She shared the incident on her Instagram account on Saturday, recounting being stranded on the tarmac. The airlines issued a statement clarifying the delay as “12 minutes.”

In her Instagram stories, the ‘Rockstar’ actor shared a picture of the airport from her flight window, calling it an ‘airport circus.’ The airlines expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to customers due to the delay, emphasizing the absence of a ladder or airbridge. Aditi Rao Hydari is known for her roles in films such as Ajeeb Daastan, Delhi 6, and Bajirao Mastani, as well as the hit series Jubilee.

Her next project is a period drama by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, titled ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,’ which also stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Sharmin Segal. The web series is set for release on May 1. This incident follows another celebrity’s airport nightmare a few months ago.

Actor Radhika Apte shared her ordeal at an airport in January when she and other co-passengers were locked inside the aerobridge after a flight delay. Another actor, Surbhi Chandna, accused budget airline Vistara of “mental harassment” earlier this year, alleging misplaced priority luggage and misbehavior by ground staff at Mumbai airport.
