Alakh Pandey, Founder of Physics Wallah, Urges Indian Students at Harvard and Stanford to Contribute to India admin, April 28, 2024 Founder and CEO of Physics Wallah, Alakh Pandey, recently encouraged Indian students studying in the US to return to India and contribute to its development. He emphasized that those who cannot return should still find ways to contribute to the progress of the country, whether directly or indirectly. Pandey made this appeal in a post on Instagram, where he shared that he was invited to prestigious universities like Harvard University, Stanford University, and University of California as a guest speaker. He included a detailed note and a series of pictures from his time on the campuses of these renowned institutions. In his post, Pandey highlighted the need for Indian students to contribute to their homeland, acknowledging the shortcomings while emphasizing the importance of the country’s youth in making it better. Last November, there were reports that Physics Wallah had terminated a significant number of employees, ranging from 70 to 120 individuals, due to performance issues. The company clarified that this constituted less than 0.8 percent of its total workforce and that its primary focus remained on maintaining a dynamic and high-performing team. Despite these terminations, Physics Wallah announced plans to hire an additional 1,000 employees in the next six months, demonstrating its commitment to growth and expansion. The company currently has around 12,000 employees. Alakh Pandey
