Asaduddin Owaisi responds to PM Modi’s comment on Muslims using condoms by mentioning PM’s stance on infiltrators.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi recently responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remark about those who have the most children, at a rally in Hyderabad. Owaisi countered the PM’s statement by claiming that Muslims use condoms the most and criticized the ruling party’s ‘Modi ki guarantee’ tagline.

He also accused the PM of spreading fear among Hindus about Muslims becoming the majority community and questioned the ongoing stigmatization of Muslims. Owaisi emphasized the decrease in population growth and fertility among Muslims, according to data from the Modi government, and defended the Muslim community’s contribution to the country.

The BJP and the Prime Minister have yet to respond to Owaisi’s remarks. The ongoing political battle between the BJP, Congress, and other opposition parties was sparked by PM Modi’s recent comments at an election rally, where he linked the Congress’ manifesto and remarks by his predecessor, Dr. Manmohan Singh, to the distribution of property among those with more children and infiltrators.

The Election Commission sent notices to BJP chief JP Nadda and Congress counterpart Mallikarjun Kharge after a complaint was filed against Mr. Gandhi, directing them to file responses. The upcoming elections in Hyderabad, scheduled for May 13, will test the support for Owaisi, who secured over 60% of the votes in 2019 but faces increasing competition this time, particularly from the BJP’s Madhavi Latha.

Apologies were issued in response to a controversial video on social media, and a police case was filed. The results of the elections will be announced on June 4.
