Congress Takes Support of Banned PFI to Win Wayanad Seat: PM Narendra Modi on Lok Sabha Elections 2024

In a public meeting, Prime Minister Modi criticized the Congress party for its stance on the “inheritance tax” issue and its governance in Karnataka. He accused the party’s leaders of intending to conduct thorough investigations into the public’s assets if they come to power.

He warned that they plan to raid households and redistribute captured assets to their vote bank, vowing to prevent this as long as he is alive. He also accused the Congress party of distorting history and freedom struggle for the sake of appeasement and votes.

Specifically, he criticized Rahul Gandhi, referring to his statement about past Indian rulers as oppressive and accused him of insulting revered historical figures. Modi highlighted the contributions of Maharajas and Rajas as well as their positive impact on society, pointing out that the Congress leader chose to criticize them while ignoring the oppressive actions of other historical figures.

Modi further condemned the Congress government’s handling of the law and order situation in Karnataka, citing specific incidents such as the killing of a Jain monk and a student and accusing the government of prioritizing appeasement over justice. He also criticized the Congress for allegedly supporting the banned PFI organization and proposed “inheritance tax” policy, which he labeled as dangerous.

Throughout the address, Prime Minister Modi portrayed the Congress party as prioritizing appeasement for the sake of votes and asserted his commitment to preventing their alleged harmful policies.
