Vistara Responds To Actor Aditi Rao Hydari’s “Airport Circus” Post

Aditi Rao Hydari’s upcoming project is a period drama by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She shared the incident on her Instagram account on Saturday, stating that she was stranded on the tarmac. The airlines issued a statement clarifying that the delay was only “12 minutes”.

In her Instagram stories, the ‘Rockstar’ actor posted a picture of the airport from her flight window, referring to the situation as an ‘airport circus’. The airlines also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to their customers. Aditi Rao Hydari is known for her roles in films such as Ajeeb Daastan, Delhi 6, and Bajirao Mastani.

She starred in the hit series Jubilee last year. Her upcoming project, titled ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, is a period drama by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and also features Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Sharmin Segal. The web series is set for release on May 1.

This incident comes only months after another celebrity’s airport nightmare. In January, actor Radhika Apte shared her ordeal at an airport, where she and other co-passengers were locked inside the aerobridge after a flight delay. Similarly, television actor Surbhi Chandna, known for her role in Naagin 5, accused budget airline Vistara of “mental harassment” earlier this year, alleging that her priority luggage was misplaced and a ground staff member misbehaved with her at Mumbai airport.
