Hu expressed shock and disappointment upon discovering that his manager and other team members had also been laid off. With half of his team affected by the layoffs, he described the atmosphere as one of sudden but devastating change. Despite the challenges, he noted his manager’s professional demeanor and encouraging words to the team, emphasizing the need to remain calm and look ahead.

In a bid to move on from the experience, Hu concluded his post with a statement of resilience and shared a screenshot of the email confirming his layoff, along with hashtags indicating that he was laid off from the Python team.
