Sunita Kejriwal, Atishi Meet Arvind Kejriwal In Tihar Jail: “He Asked

Arvind Kejriwal was arrested in the Delhi Liquor Policy case in March. He was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case on March 21. His former Deputy, Manish Sisodia, is jailed in the same case.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is scheduled to meet Mr. Kejriwal tomorrow. Atishi, who holds six departments in the Delhi Cabinet, shared her recent interaction with the Chief Minister. She mentioned asking him about his well-being, to which he redirected the conversation to the current state of affairs in Delhi.

He inquired about the availability of books for children and the presence of medicines in Mohalla Clinic. Atishi also relayed the Chief Minister’s message, expressing plans to provide Rs 1000 to the women of Delhi and ensure adequate water supply for the upcoming summer season. Last week, AAP MP Sanjay Singh made claims regarding Atishi’s supposed meeting with Mr. Kejriwal.

He stated that her meeting was not confirmed and was subsequently canceled at the last moment after applying for it. The chief minister has not stepped down post his arrest with the AAP asserting that he would continue to run the government from jail.
