Amit Shah Responds to Sex Scandal Allegations Against Prajwal Revanna with Reference to Priyanka Gandhi

Mr. Shah, a Union Minister from the BJP, addressed reporters this morning. He emphasized the party’s unwavering support for “matrushakti” (mothers or women). Mr. Shah criticized the Congress government for its inaction, insisting that it is the responsibility of the state government to address such law and order issues. The BJP advocates for a thorough investigation into the case.

Mr. Shah questioned the lack of action by the Congress government despite being in power and called on Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to press for accountability from the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister. He referenced earlier criticism from Ms. Gandhi towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi over a sex scandal involving a JD(S) leader. The JD(S) leader, Prajwal, a sitting MP from Karnataka’s Hassan constituency, has been accused in a sex scandal. He has denied the allegations and left for Germany pending a probe.

A case of sexual harassment and stalking has been filed against him, and the Karnataka government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the matter. The SIT plans to request his return to India, as stated by Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara.
