Mallikarjun Kharge, PM Narendra Modi, 2024 Lok Sabha Elections: M Kharge responds to PM’s remark on Muslim birth rate

The Congress leader, Mr. Kharge, expressed his disagreement with Prime Minister Modi’s remarks about wealth redistribution. He questioned why the focus was solely on Muslims and emphasized that Muslims are integral to the country.

Mr. Kharge also shared personal details, mentioning that he has five children and is his parents’ only son, highlighting the tragedies his family has faced. Additionally, he refuted PM Modi’s claim that the Congress planned to redistribute wealth to those with more children and infiltrators.

Mr. Kharge addressed the audience, questioning whether the Congress had ever taken away anyone’s possessions during their 55-year rule. He conveyed his father’s wish to see his grandchildren, emphasizing that Muslims have the same entitlement to resources as everyone else.

Prime Minister Modi’s statement during an election rally in Rajasthan was also mentioned, where he warned against Congress coming to power and redistributing wealth. Mr. Kharge countered and emphasized the inclusive nature of the country, arguing against singling out specific religious groups.
