Arvind Kejriwal runs Delhi Congress from prison: Former MLA who resigned from the party.

The Congress leader expressed dissatisfaction over the candidature of Kanhaiya Kumar and Udit Raj in the Lok Sabha elections. He attributed the current state of the Congress party to the negative propaganda carried out by AAP against the Sheila Dixit government in Delhi and the UPA government at the Centre.

Former MLA Naseeb Singh, along with other senior leaders, opposed the alliance with AAP due to their past behavior, but their concerns were disregarded by the high command. Singh also accused the Delhi Congress Committee of being influenced by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal from Tihar Jail.

Singh criticized AAP’s influence on the Congress and its failure to align with the party’s ideology. He questioned the decision to form an alliance with AAP, calling it “totally wrong, unrealistic and unnatural”.

Singh also emphasized the party’s lack of attention to Congress promises and leaders, focusing exclusively on Kejriwal. Neeraj Basoya joined the criticism, expressing disbelief in the justification for the alliance and emphasizing AAP’s neglect of Congress’s principles and leaders.

Basoya also questioned the seat-sharing arrangement, highlighting the imprisonment of top AAP leaders and the upcoming elections in Delhi. In the seat-sharing agreement, the Congress is contesting three seats in Delhi, while the AAP is contesting four in the Lok Sabha elections.

The Congress has nominated JP Aggarwal from Chandni Chowk, Kanhaiya Kumar from North East Delhi, and Udit Raj from Delhi North West. The elections in Delhi will be held on May 25, and the results for all Lok Sabha seats will be declared on June 4.
