Comedian Shyam Rangeela to Challenge PM Modi in Varanasi Election

Rangeela recently expressed his excitement about the love and support he has received after announcing his intention to contest elections from Varanasi. He mentioned that he will soon share his views on his nomination and election campaign through a video message after reaching Varanasi. In an earlier post, Rangeela highlighted his decision to contest elections from Varanasi due to uncertainty around nomination withdrawals. Speaking to the media, Rangeela explained that he was a supporter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014, sharing videos in support of the Prime Minister and against other political figures.

However, he stated that his views have evolved over the last 10 years, and he now plans to contest against the Prime Minister as an Independent candidate in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. He emphasized that his candidacy will provide the people of Varanasi with an alternative choice during the elections. Rangeela mentioned his intention to file his nomination against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi and emphasized the importance of providing voters with options. On April 25, he sought the opinion of his social media followers on whether he should file his nomination as an Independent candidate from Varanasi.
