YouTuber Dhruv Rathee Reacts To Viral Posts Claiming His Wife Is From Pakistan

Recently, there has been an increase in the circulation of posts on social media, claiming that Mr. Rathee’s “real name” is Badruddin Rashid Lahori, and that his wife, Julie, is a Pakistani national named Zulaikha. These posts also allege that the couple resides in the Karachi bungalow of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, under the protection of the Pakistani military. Mr. Rathee, who has over 18 million subscribers and is known for his critical videos on the government, has been the target of many of these recent posts.

In response to the claims, he stated, “They have no answer to the videos I made so they’re spreading these fake claims. And how desperate do you have to be to drag my wife’s family into this? You can also see the disgusting moral standard of these IT Cell employees.”

His YouTube channel has received widespread attention for its critiques of government policies and societal issues.
