Despite the allegations against him, Mr. Singh has denied any wrongdoing, and the case is currently in court.

Despite this, he retains significant influence in the Kaiserganj constituency, and the BJP has chosen his son as his replacement due to the political power wielded by the six-time MP. The party’s decision was met with celebrations at the MP’s home, and Karan Bhushan Singh expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the people in the constituency. This will be Karan Bhushan Singh’s first time contesting in elections, and his father, Brij Bhushan Singh, has welcomed the party’s decision while acknowledging that he is not above the party.
