Arvind Kejriwal’s 2024 Lok Sabha Election Prediction: BJP Limited to 230 Seats, INDIA Bloc to Win

A day after his release on interim bail, Mr Kejriwal spoke at Aam Aadmi Party’s headquarters in Delhi. He claimed that the opposition INDIA bloc would win the elections and the AAP would be part of the next government at the Centre. Mr. Kejriwal expressed that he had spoken to poll experts and people after his release, and concluded that the BJP would not form the government. He also mentioned that the BJP’s seats would not increase in any state.

Mr. Kejriwal predicted that the BJP would not secure more than 220-230 seats, and asserted that the Modi government would not be formed on June 4. He also promised that full statehood would be provided to Delhi when the INDIA bloc government is formed. Mr. Kejriwal criticized the BJP leaders for questioning the INDIA bloc about their choice for Prime Minister, inquiring about who the BJP’s PM would be. He stated that Modi will turn 75 next year and referred to a rule made by the PM where people aged 75 would be retired.

Mr. Kejriwal also claimed that Modi would retire next year and questioned whether Amit Shah would fulfill Modi’s guarantee if he were to become the PM. Additionally, Mr. Kejriwal claimed that if the BJP wins the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, all opposition leaders including Mamata Banerjee, Tejashvi Yadav, MK Stalin, Pinarayi Vijayan, and Uddhav Thackeray will be jailed. The Supreme Court has directed Mr. Kejriwal to surrender on June 2, a day after the last phase of the seven-phase poll is scheduled to conclude.
