Lok Sabha Elections 2024: PM Narendra Modi’s Assets Worth ₹3.02 Crore, No House or Car Owned admin, May 14, 2024 The Prime Minister has filed his nomination for a third term as the Member of Parliament from Varanasi. In his affidavit, he declared total assets worth Rs 3.02 crore, with the bulk of it coming from a fixed deposit worth Rs 2.86 crore with the State Bank of India. He also disclosed having Rs 52,920 in cash and Rs 80,304 in two bank accounts in Gandhinagar and Varanasi. Additionally, he has investments in National Savings Certificates and ownership of four gold rings. His income for the year 2022-23 has increased to Rs 23.56 lakh from Rs 11.14 lakh in 2018-19. Regarding his education, the PM stated that he completed his Bachelor of Arts from Delhi University in 1978 and Master of Arts from Gujarat University in 1983. He also declared no pending criminal cases against him. Expressing his emotions upon filing his nomination, the Prime Minister remarked, “I am overwhelmed and emotional. I did not even realize how 10 years passed under the shade of your affection. ‘Aaj Maa Ganga ne mujhe god le liya hai’ (today, Maa Ganga has adopted me).” Varanasi is scheduled to vote in the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha election on June 1.
