Mr Shah also dismissed Mr Kejriwal’s speculations about the retirement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his own ascension to the role of Prime Minister, asserting that PM Modi would remain in office until 2029. He quipped that elections would still be contested under PM Modi’s leadership even beyond that time.
