Amit Shah Takes Aim at Congress: “Looted Country for Many Years

Amit Shah criticized the INDIA alliance, stating that the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was obtained after a prolonged wait. He dismissed the Congress’s claims that the Pran Prathishtha had not been done properly, and warned that if the Congress were to come to power, they would impose restrictions on the temple. Shah condemned what he described as dynastic politics within the Congress, pointing to instances where leaders like Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, and Sonia Gandhi were promoting their family members for leadership positions.

He insisted that the people should have the ultimate say in such matters, emphasizing that there should be no reserved seats for any particular family. The Congress’s approach to Article 370 was criticized by Shah, who credited Prime Minister Modi with its abrogation and the subsequent reduction in terrorism. He also asserted India’s claim to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and dismissed any fears about it.

Shah highlighted the issue of corruption within the Congress, stating that the Modi government would take action against those who have allegedly looted the country. He also praised the development initiatives in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Modi and Yogi Ji, which include the establishment of expressways, a metro network, medical colleges, a film city, and a toy park. He attributed the decline in criminal activities to the efforts of Yogi Ji.

In the political context, the focus has returned to the constituencies of Amethi and Raebareli, traditionally associated with the Gandhi family. The entry of Rahul Gandhi in Rae Bareli and the nomination of a family confidante for the Amethi seat have reignited interest in these areas. The Congress’s electoral performance in Uttar Pradesh, particularly in these constituencies, was mentioned as well.
