Amit Shah takes swipe at Congress for looting the country for many years

Amit Shah criticized the INDIA alliance, stating that after a long wait, Ram Mandir was established in Ayodhya. He expressed disapproval of the Congress’ claims about the Pran Prathishtha and warned that they would lock the temple if they were to come into power. He decried what he characterized as dynastic politics, citing examples of Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, and Sonia Gandhi’s preferences for family members to hold key positions. Amit Shah accused the Congress of inaction regarding Article 370, attributing its revocation to Prime Minister Modi.

He also asserted that the current government has effectively countered terrorism and claimed ownership of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. He accused the Congress of widespread corruption and promised that the Modi government would hold the corrupt accountable. Highlighting the development in Uttar Pradesh under the “double engine government,” Amit Shah praised the initiatives undertaken in the state. He specifically mentioned the establishment of expressways, a metro network, medical colleges, a film city, and a toy park.

He credited Yogi Adityanath for combating criminal elements in the state. The article also noted the reemergence of Amethi and Rae Bareli as significant constituencies due to Rahul Gandhi’s candidacy in Rae Bareli and the appointment of a close aide in Amethi. It pointed out the decline in Congress’ seat count in Uttar Pradesh from two seats in 2014 to just one in 2019 after the party lost Amethi.
