Amit Shah Takes Swipe at Congress for Plundering Country for Many Years

Amit Shah, speaking out against the INDIA alliance, criticized the Congress party, highlighting their dynastic politics and accusing them of corruption. He emphasized the need for the people to have a say in political matters, rather than it being reserved for a select few families. Shah also praised the actions of the Modi government, specifically mentioning the abrogation of Article 370 and the development in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath and Narendra Modi. He highlighted the improvements in infrastructure, healthcare, and security in the state.

Furthermore, Shah claimed that the Congress party has continuously looted the country and expressed confidence that the Modi government would bring corrupt individuals to justice. He also asserted that the country has not succumbed to fear in the face of terrorism and reiterated India’s claim to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The speech comes at a crucial time as two constituencies, Rae Bareli and Amethi, which are traditionally known as strongholds of the Gandhi family, have once again become focal points in the political arena. Notably, Rahul Gandhi has entered the fray in Rae Bareli, and the Gandhi family’s close aide, Kishori Lal Sharma, has been fielded against Smriti Irani in Amethi.

The Congress party had won only two seats in Uttar Pradesh in 2014, which decreased to just one in 2019 after losing Amethi.
