Amit Shah Criticizes Congress for “Looting Country for Many Years

Amit Shah criticized the INDIA alliance, emphasizing the accomplishment of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya after a prolonged wait. He ridiculed the Congress’s skepticism about the Pran Prathishtha, and warned that they would “put a Babri lock on it” if they were to come into power. He further criticized the practice of dynastic politics within the Congress, highlighting the ambitions of leaders like Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, and Sonia Gandhi for their family members to hold key positions. Shah stressed that the people should decide the distribution of seats, rather than it being reserved for specific families.

Shah also condemned the Congress for their approach towards Article 370, attributing its abrogation to Modi’s leadership. He credited this action with reducing terrorism and asserted that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir also belongs to India. Additionally, he accused the Congress of widespread corruption, asserting that the Modi government would bring the corrupt to justice. Praising the development in Uttar Pradesh under the “double engine government” of Modi and Yogi Adityanath, Shah highlighted the state’s progress, including the establishment of expressways, a metro network, medical colleges, a film city, and a toy park.

He credited Yogi Adityanath for eliminating criminal elements from the state. Shah further noted the significance of Amethi and Rae Bareli, traditional strongholds of the Gandhi family, in the upcoming elections. He mentioned that Rahul Gandhi has entered the race in Rae Bareli, and Kishori Lal Sharma, a close aide of the Gandhi family, has been fielded against Smriti Irani in Amethi. He highlighted the decline in Congress’s performance in Uttar Pradesh, winning just two seats in 2014, which reduced to one in 2019 after losing Amethi.
