Amit Shah Takes Swipe at Congress for Years of Looting the Country

Amit Shah, in his address, criticized the INDIA alliance. He highlighted the completion of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya after a long wait, mocking the Congress for questioning the Pran Prathishtha process. He warned that the Congress would lock the temple if they came into power.

Shah also accused the Congress of dynastic politics, citing examples like Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, and Sonia Gandhi promoting their family members for important positions. He emphasized that it is the people who should decide such matters, not a family. Shah strongly criticized the Congress over Article 370, praising Modi for its abrogation and stating that it has led to a decrease in terrorism.

He also claimed Pakistan-occupied Kashmir as part of India. He labeled the Congress as corrupt and promised that the Modi government would prosecute all corrupt individuals. Shah spoke positively about the development in Uttar Pradesh under the double engine government of Modi and Yogi Ji.

He highlighted the infrastructure and other developments in the state. He also mentioned that Amethi and Raebareli, considered as strongholds of the Gandhi family, have attracted attention as Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has entered the fray in Rae Bareli and a close aide of the Gandhi family has been fielded in Amethi. Notably, the Congress had only won two seats in Uttar Pradesh in 2014 and one in 2019 after the party lost Amethi.
