Amit Shah Takes Swipe at Congress for Plundering the Country for So Many Years

Amit Shah recently criticized the Indian National Congress (INC) by accusing them of engaging in dynastic politics and corruption. He slammed the INC’s stance on the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, challenging their objection to the ceremony and warning that if the INC comes into power, they would place a lock on the temple. Shah also criticized the INC’s approach to Article 370 and asserted that it was Prime Minister Modi who took action to abrogate it, claiming that this step has effectively countered terrorism and secured Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Furthermore, Shah accused the INC of rampant corruption and pledged that the Modi government would prosecute the corrupt individuals.

He also lauded the progress of the “double engine government” in Uttar Pradesh, highlighting the development in the state under Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Amit Shah emphasized the implementation of major infrastructure projects such as expressways, metro networks, medical colleges, and entertainment facilities in the state. He also praised Yogi Adityanath’s efforts in dealing with law and order issues by eliminating criminal elements in Uttar Pradesh. The upcoming elections in Amethi and Raebareli, traditionally stronghold constituencies for the Gandhi family, have once again attracted attention.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is contesting from Raebareli, while one of the family’s close aides is running against Smriti Irani in Amethi. The Congress party’s performance in Uttar Pradesh, specifically in these constituencies, has dwindled over the years, winning only one seat in 2019 after losing Amethi.
