Amit Shah Takes Swipe at Congress for Plundering the Country for Many Years

Amit Shah criticized the INDIA alliance, emphasizing the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya after “a long wait.” He accused the Congress of indicating that the Pran Prathishtha was not carried out correctly and warned that if the Congress were to gain power, they would lock the temple again. He also criticized the Congress for engaging in dynastic politics.

Shah singled out Lalu Prasad Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, and Sonia Gandhi, stating their desires to secure positions for their family members. He emphasized that the people should play the key role in deciding political representation and asserted that seats are not reserved for family members. Shah condemned the Congress for its handling of Article 370, praising Modi’s decision to abrogate it and asserting that the move has effectively addressed terrorism.

He underscored India’s claim to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and emphasized that the country is not afraid. Furthermore, Shah accused the Congress of corruption, vowing that the Modi government would imprison all corrupt individuals. He also praised the development and progress achieved in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Modi and Yogi Adityanath.

He highlighted the infrastructure improvements, including expressways, a metro network, medical colleges, a film city, and a toy park. Finally, Shah highlighted the significance of Amethi and Raebareli, traditional strongholds of the Gandhi family, as Congress leader Rahul Gandhi contested in Rae Bareli and the family’s close aide competed against Smriti Irani in Amethi. He noted the reduced electoral success of the Congress in Uttar Pradesh, with the tally decreasing from two seats in 2014 to just one in 2019, following the loss of Amethi.
