Amit Shah Takes Aim at Congress: Describes Country as “Looted” for Many Years

Amit Shah criticized the INDIA alliance, emphasizing the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya after a long wait. He denounced the Congress’ stance on the Pran Prathishtha and warned that they would lock the temple if they came to power. Shah also accused the Congress of promoting dynastic politics, citing examples of Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, and Sonia Gandhi.

He stressed the importance of letting the people decide on political leadership rather than reserving seats for specific families. Shah condemned the Congress for its inaction regarding Article 370, praising Modi for its abrogation and asserting India’s claim over Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. He labeled the Congress as corrupt and vowed that the Modi government would hold the corrupt accountable by putting them in jail.

Highlighting the progress in Uttar Pradesh under the double engine government, Shah credited Modi and Yogi Adityanath for the development in the state, including the establishment of expressways, a metro network, medical colleges, film city, and a toy park. He also applauded the eradication of criminal elements in the state by Yogi Adityanath. Notably, the focus has returned to the constituencies of Amethi and Raebareli, considered strongholds of the Gandhi family, as Rahul Gandhi has entered the fray in Raebareli and the party’s close aide Kishori Lal Sharma has been fielded against Smriti Irani in Amethi.
