Amit Shah takes a dig at Congress for looting the country for many years

Amit Shah criticized the INDIA alliance, expressing satisfaction at the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya after a long wait. He dismissed the Congress’s skepticism about the Pran Prathishtha ceremony, cautioning that if the Congress came to power, they would place a Babri lock on the temple. Shah also accused the Congress of engaging in dynastic politics, emphasizing the party’s desire to secure positions for family members. He noted that the people should have the final say in political seats, denying the idea of reserved seats for families.

Shah condemned the Congress’s inaction on Article 370, crediting Prime Minister Modi for its abrogation and asserting that the government has successfully combated terrorism. He also claimed that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir belongs to India, expressing a lack of fear towards Pakistan. Branding the Congress as corrupt, Shah promised that the Modi government would prosecute all corrupt individuals. He praised the progress of Uttar Pradesh under the double engine government and highlighted the numerous developments in the state, including expressways, a metro network, medical colleges, film city, and a toy park.

Additionally, Shah emphasized Yogi Ji’s efforts in eliminating crime in the state. In a noteworthy development, Amethi and Raebareli, which are traditionally associated with the Gandhi family, have once again become the focus of attention. Rahul Gandhi is contesting from Rae Bareli, while Kishori Lal Sharma, a close aide of the Gandhi family, is running against Smriti Irani in Amethi. The Congress won only two seats in Uttar Pradesh in 2014, but the tally dropped to just one in 2019 after losing Amethi.
