Amit Shah Takes Swipe at Congress for Plundering the Country Over Many Years

In a recent speech, Amit Shah criticized the INDIA alliance, stating that the Congress Party engages in dynastic politics. He highlighted leaders such as Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, and Sonia Gandhi, suggesting they are seeking to secure positions of power for family members.

Shah emphasized the people’s right to decide political representatives, asserting that no seats should be reserved for political families. Addressing the Congress’ stance on Article 370, Shah credited Prime Minister Modi for its abrogation, claiming that this action has curtailed terrorism and asserting that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir also belongs to India.

He accused the Congress of being corrupt and pledged that the Modi government would hold the corrupt accountable. Shah praised the developments in Uttar Pradesh under the “double engine government” of Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

He cited achievements such as the establishment of expressways, a metro network, medical colleges, a film city, and a toy park. He also commended Yogi Adityanath for his efforts in eliminating criminal elements from the state.

Notably, the constituencies of Amethi and Rae Bareli, considered strongholds of the Gandhi family, have regained attention with Rahul Gandhi’s entry into the electoral race in Rae Bareli and the Congress fielding Kishori Lal Sharma against Smriti Irani in Amethi. The Congress party had won only two seats in Uttar Pradesh in 2014, which decreased to one in 2019 after losing Amethi.
