Amit Shah takes a dig at Congress, refers to India as a “looted country” for many years.

Amit Shah recently criticized the INDIA alliance, emphasizing the significance of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, following its long-awaited construction. He dismissed the Congress’ objections to the Pran Prathishtha, warning that they would lock the temple if they came into power.

Shah also accused the Congress of pursuing dynastic politics, pointing out Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, and Sonia Gandhi’s aspirations for family members to assume leadership positions. He asserted that the people, not any particular family, should decide who holds political seats, challenging the concept of political dynasties.

Shah also took aim at the Congress over Article 370, attributing its abrogation to Prime Minister Modi and touting the success in combating terrorism in the country, along with a claim to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Furthermore, Shah criticized the Congress for widespread corruption and affirmed that the Modi government would enforce accountability by imprisoning corrupt individuals.

He also commended the development in Uttar Pradesh under the Modi-led government, citing the establishment of expressways, a metro network, medical colleges, a film city, and a toy park, while praising Yogi Adityanath for his efforts in curbing criminal activity. The two constituencies of Amethi and Raebareli, traditional strongholds of the Gandhi family, have returned to the spotlight as Rahul Gandhi contesting in Raebareli and the party’s close associate Kishori Lal Sharma fielded against Smriti Irani in Amethi.

The Congress had secured only two seats in Uttar Pradesh in 2014, which reduced to one after losing Amethi in 2019.
