Amit Shah Criticizes Congress for Plundering the Country for Many Years

Amit Shah criticized the INDIA alliance, emphasizing the significance of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and taking a dig at the Congress by questioning their approach to the Pran Prathishtha. He accused the Congress of playing dynastic politics, referencing examples such as Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, and Sonia Gandhi’s preferences for their family members in political positions. He stressed the importance of allowing the people to decide, rather than reserving political seats for specific families. Shah also criticized the Congress for their stance on Article 370, crediting Prime Minister Modi for taking action to abrogate it and asserting control over terrorism in the country.

He accused the Congress of corruption and promised that the Modi government would hold the corrupt accountable. Shah praised the progress achieved in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, highlighting developments such as expressways, a metro network, medical colleges, a film city, and a toy park. The political significance of Amethi and Raebareli, known as strongholds of the Gandhi family, has again come to the fore with Rahul Gandhi contesting in Rae Bareli and the family’s close aide Kishori Lal Sharma running against Smriti Irani in Amethi. In 2014, Congress won just two seats in Uttar Pradesh (Rae Bareli and Amethi), which reduced to one in 2019 after losing Amethi.
