Amit Shah Takes Aim at Congress: Accuses Party of Plundering Country for Many Years

Amit Shah criticized the INDIA alliance, claiming that they would lock the Babri Mandir if they were to come into power. He also accused the Congress of engaging in dynastic politics, asserting that power should be determined by the people rather than reserved for a family. Shah condemned the Congress’s stance on Article 370, crediting Prime Minister Modi for its abrogation, asserting that it has helped curb terrorism in the country.

He also accused the Congress of corruption and pledged that the Modi government would put all the corrupt individuals in jail. Shah praised the double engine government in Uttar Pradesh, highlighting the state’s developments such as expressways, a metro network, medical colleges, film city, and a toy park, attributing these accomplishments to Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Ji. Regarding the upcoming elections, the constituencies of Amethi and Raebareli, which are considered strongholds of the Gandhi family, have garnered attention as Rahul Gandhi has entered the fray in Rae Bareli and the family’s close aide has been fielded against Smriti Irani in Amethi.

The Congress had won two seats in Uttar Pradesh in 2014, but their success dwindled to just one in 2019 after losing Amethi.
