Amit Shah Takes Aim at Congress, Describing Years of Plundered Nation

Amit Shah recently criticized the INDIA alliance, stating that after a long wait, the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was finally obtained. He countered Congress’ claim that the Pran Prathishtha was not done correctly by warning that if they came into power, they would lock the temple. He also accused the Congress of engaging in dynastic politics, citing Lalu ji, Mamata, and Sonia Gandhi as examples.

Shah then criticized the Congress over Article 370, claiming that while the Congress did not act against it, Modi ji successfully abrogated it. He emphasized Modi ji’s success in addressing terrorism and his assertion of ownership over Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Shah also accused the Congress of corruption and vowed that the Modi government would hold the corrupt accountable.

Highlighting the development in Uttar Pradesh under the “double engine” government, Shah praised the state’s progress under Modi ji and Yogi Ji. He mentioned the various infrastructure and institutional improvements in Uttar Pradesh, attributing the state’s improvement to their leadership. The spotlight has returned to Amethi and Raebareli, two constituencies historically associated with the Gandhi family, as Rahul Gandhi has entered the fray in Rae Bareli and a family aide has been fielded against Smriti Irani in Amethi.

The Congress won two seats in Uttar Pradesh in 2014 but only one in 2019 after losing Amethi.
