Amit Shah Takes Swipe at Congress for Plundering Country for Many Years

Amit Shah critiqued the INDIA alliance, emphasizing the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya after a long wait. He believed that the Congress was speaking against the Pran Prathistha and warned that they would lock the Babri Mandir if they came into power. Suggesting a dynastic approach, Shah pointed out that Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, and Sonia Gandhi were promoting family members for political positions.

He stressed that such decisions should be made by the people and not dictated by a family hierarchy. Shah criticized the Congress over its stance on Article 370, highlighting that it was abrogated by Prime Minister Modi to halt terrorism and reclaim Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. He accused the Congress of being corrupt and promised that the Modi government would hold the corrupt accountable.

Additionally, he praised the development initiatives in Uttar Pradesh under the double engine government, emphasizing the state’s progress under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Modi. The focus then shifted to the constituencies of Amethi and Raebareli, traditional strongholds of the Gandhi family. The recent electoral contest between Rahul Gandhi in Raebareli and Kishori Lal Sharma in Amethi symbolized the family’s enduring influence in these regions.

Despite this, the Congress’s electoral performance in Uttar Pradesh has dwindled, winning only one seat in 2019 after losing Amethi.
