Noor Malabika Das Death: Actor from ‘The Trial’ Webseries Found Dead in Mumbai Apartment

The death of Das, a former air hostess with Qatar Airways, is suspected to be a suicide. Her body was discovered in her apartment in Lokhandwala, with neighbors alerting the authorities after noticing a foul smell coming from the residence. Police found the actor’s body in a decomposed state after breaking open the door. Das featured as a co-star alongside actor Kajol in the 2023 legal drama, The Trial.

In response to the incident, the All Indian Cine Workers Association has urged Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis to conduct a thorough investigation into the alleged suicide. The association emphasized the need for the government to probe the underlying causes of recurring tragedies in the Indian film industry.
