Tragically, on June 7 at 8:46 am, Yuvraj was shot and killed in the 900-block of 164 Street in Surrey, British Columbia. The Surrey Police responded to a call reporting the shooting and upon arrival, found Yuvraj dead. Four suspects, Manvir Basram (23), Sahib Basra (20), Harkirat Jhutty (23) – all from Surrey, and Keilon Francois (20) from Ontario, were taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder on Saturday. The authorities expressed gratitude for the work of the Surrey RCMP, Air 1, and Lower Mainland Integrated Emergency Response Team (IERT), but emphasized that the investigation is ongoing.
