In the Lok Sabha election, the NDA bloc also claimed dominance by winning 21 out of 25 seats. As a result, TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu is set to be sworn in as Chief Minister the following day. However, a TDP supporter in Kurnool district was tragically murdered, allegedly by political opponents, following an argument. The victim, Gowrinath Chowdary, was reportedly murdered on Sunday evening after an altercation. Police have registered a murder case and are actively seeking the perpetrators. In response, Nara Lokesh, TDP general secretary and son of Chief Minister N Chandrababu, has accused the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) of being behind the murder. He pledged the party’s support for the victim’s family and criticized YS Jagan for perpetuating a “bloody history.” YSRCP, in turn, shared a video depicting an individual apologizing before a poster of Nara Lokesh, alleging that TDP leaders were targeting Dalits and resorting to intimidation tactics.
