Shocking Incident in Tripura as Woman Strangles Son for Theft and Neglecting Studies

Suprabha Bal, a woman identified as the perpetrator, was found sitting near her son’s body upon the arrival of the police in Agartala’s Joynagar. As a result, she has been arrested.

Bal, who previously worked as a daily labourer at a construction site, confessed to the crime. She shared that her husband was missing and her daughter was married, leaving her alone to raise her son.

Bal expressed her distress over her son’s actions, which led her to be unable to work or live in peace. “I couldn’t go to work or live in peace because of his actions.

I killed him and am ready to go to jail for it,” she confessed. In connection to the murder, the police recovered a piece of rope and a bamboo stick from her residence, which were believed to be used in the crime.
