2 Indian Citizens Enlisted by Russian Army Perish in Ukraine Conflict

The ministry has urged people to be careful when considering jobs in Russia. The Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy in Moscow have taken steps to advocate for the early release and return of Indian nationals who are with the Russian Army. They have raised the matter with the Russian Ambassador in New Delhi and Russian authorities in Moscow.

India has also called for a verified halt to the recruitment of Indian nationals by the Russian Army and stated that such actions do not align with the partnership between the two countries.
