Man Arrested for Faridabad Killing of 13-Year-Old Boy Over Debt: Police admin, June 15, 2024 The police have identified the accused as Vishal, a medical store operator and a resident of the housing board colony in sector 62 Ballabgarh. Officials revealed that during the investigation, Vishal was found to have killed Kush, a student of class eight, by overdosing him with an intoxicant to render him unconscious. Vishal then allegedly dumped Kush’s body near the Agra canal, and the police recovered the body on Friday. It was reported that Umesh Chand, Kush’s father, filed a complaint stating that his son had been missing since Thursday evening. Despite efforts to search for Kush, he could not be found. After examining CCTV footage, it was discovered that Kush had passed Vishal’s home. Kush’s bicycle was also found on Vishal’s terrace, leading to the handover of Vishal to the police. During interrogation, Vishal confessed to having kidnapped Kush to demand ransom from his parents and repay his debt. Vishal admitted to injecting Kush with an intoxicant, resulting in an overdose that led to Kush’s death. Vishal allegedly disposed of the body near the canal after realizing that he could not ask for ransom as Kush had died. The body was later handed over to the family after post-mortem.
