Men Seize Bike From Gurugram Officer, 1 Arrested: Police

Special police officer (SPO) Sandeep filed a complaint stating that while patrolling in the sector 31 area with other policemen on Monday, he asked a bike rider to stop and produce his documents. The rider failed to do so, leading to the SPO impounding the motorcycle and initiating the process of taking the rider and the vehicle to the sector 40 police station. However, during the transit, the rider made a call, prompting two associates to arrive and block the SPO’s path.

They allegedly assaulted Sandeep, seized the motorcycle, and fled the scene. Following the incident, an FIR was registered against the three accused under the IPC sections 186, 341, 353, and 34 at the sector 40 police station. A senior police officer mentioned that one of the accused, identified as Subhash, has been arrested, and efforts are underway to apprehend the others.
