Nasiar stated that the party sees the grant of bail to Kejriwal as a significant victory, asserting that the ED lacks any evidence against their leaders and has been working under external influence to undermine their political careers. AAP’s legal team member, Advocate Rishikesh Kumar, confirmed that Kejriwal has been granted bail on a bond of Rs 1 lakh and is expected to be released by tomorrow afternoon, viewing it as a major win for the party and the nation. Priyanka Kakkar, the AAP National Spokesperson, emphasized that obtaining regular bail in a Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) case is akin to an acquittal, denouncing the case as entirely fabricated by the BJP and expressing gratitude to the court for its landmark decision. Saurabh Bharadwaj, Delhi Minister and AAP leader, hailed the verdict as a significant milestone in the country’s judicial system, highlighting the public’s trust in the judiciary. Additionally, Harpal Singh Cheema, a Punjab Minister and AAP leader, conveyed gratitude to the judiciary for granting bail to Kejriwal, deeming the case against him as baseless. Various AAP leaders and ministers expressed their satisfaction with the court’s decision, with assertions that the judgment has upheld the constitution and democracy. Meanwhile, the court’s decision to grant bail to Kejriwal was made by the vacation judge Nyay Bindu of Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court, which also rejected the ED’s request to postpone the process for filing bail bond.
