Lok Sabha Election Results Reflect Public Sentiment for State Election: Sharad Pawar

The Maharashtra Assembly elections are scheduled to take place in October. The Maha Vikas Aghadi allies, which include the NCP (SP), Shiv Sena (UBT), and Congress, have announced their intention to contest all 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra after achieving success in 31 of them during the previous election.

NCP leader Pawar informed reporters that the election results indicated a reflection of the people’s desires. He pointed out that the coalition secured victory in 155 assembly segments within the 31 seats they won, indicating the mood of the people for the upcoming assembly elections.

During the discussion, Pawar also addressed the opposition that has surfaced against the proposed Nagpur-Goa ‘Shaktipeeth’ expressway. He suggested that the government should offer a clear explanation for its enthusiasm about the project, acknowledging that there may be valid reasons for the opposition.
