Darshan Thoogudeepa-Renuka Swamy Murder Case: Darshan’s Anger Issues Addressed by Actor Anusha Rai

Anusha Rai stated that she was unaware of Darshan’s relationship with Pavithra. She also mentioned that Darshan has anger issues, but she believed he was a humble and caring person, expressing disbelief about his involvement in the murder case. She emphasized that while he has anger issues, he is also humble and good, and that people need to talk to him carefully.

Anusha shared her concern for Darshan’s family, particularly his wife and 15-year-old child, who have been facing hate comments online. The alleged victim, Renuka Swamy, a resident of Chitradurga in Karnataka, was reportedly tortured and killed by Darshan and his fans after being kidnapped from his home on June 8. He was found dead the next morning in a drain in Bengaluru.

Post-mortem examination revealed that he died of shock and haemorrhage, with 15 wounds on his body. Darshan, a popular figure in the Kannada film industry, was arrested two days later from his Mysuru farmhouse. His co-star Pavithra has been named as the main accused in the case and is also in custody.

Actor Sanjjanaa Galrani, who has worked with Darshan, described him as a “demigod figure” in the Kannada industry and called his arrest a “black day” for the artistes. She defended Darshan’s character, stating that the person being spoken about in the news was different from the person she knew. She emphasized that he was a “soft-spoken gentleman” with a respectful and gentle nature, despite his alleged “temperamental nature” and past controversies.
