JP Nadda, President of the BJP, claims West Bengal under Mamata Banerjee is unsafe for women.

The West Bengal Police registered a case over the incident on Sunday. Following the incident, the BJP president, Mr. Nadda, posted on X, expressing concern over the brutality seen in a video from West Bengal and criticizing the TMC cadre and MLAs for justifying the act. He added that West Bengal, under Didi’s rule, is not safe for women. The video showed a man beating up a couple with a bamboo stick, and the assailant was identified as a local TMC leader from Chopra in Uttar Dinajpur district.
