Calcutta High Court to Hear Governor’s Defamation Suit Against Mamata Banerjee Tomorrow

Ms. Banerjee had made her comments during an administrative meeting at the state secretariat on June 27, where she claimed that women had expressed fear of visiting the Raj Bhavan due to recent reported incidents. On May 2, a contractual woman employee of Raj Bhavan alleged molestation against Bose, leading to an enquiry by the Kolkata Police.
