CCTV Captures Speeding Bus Running Over 6 Women in Uttarakhand, Resulting in 1 Fatality

Several women were hit by a speeding bus in Uttarakhand, resulting in one fatality. The bus appeared to be out of control as it struck the women, with CCTV footage capturing the incident. Additionally, three other women narrowly escaped being hit, and a scooter managed to swerve to avoid a collision.

The women were waiting for autos on Kashipur Road near Alliance flyover in Rudrapur when the bus rammed them from behind. The injured were promptly taken to the district hospital, with one of them being in critical condition. Manjunath TC, Senior Superintendent of Police, Udham Singh Nagar, confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation had been initiated.

The bus involved in the accident displayed a banner bearing the name of St. Mary’s Senior Secondary School, but its affiliation has not been verified. However, Manjunath TC noted that it was a private bus, and not a school bus. Efforts are being made to analyze the situation further and provide medical treatment to the injured women.

The body of the deceased victim has been sent for postmortem examination.
